FIJI TRAVEL GUIDE

Fiji Travel Guide - When planning a trip to Fiji, there are many places to check out when you arrive on the island. On the Viti Levu Island, most tourists will arrive at the Nadi International Airport located in Nadi. Most of the tourism attractions can be found throughout Nadi, including an array of souvenir shops and interesting merchants. Two large resorts can be located in this area, offering a decent beach option.

When a visitor reaches the Coral Coast, they will encounter the Queen’s Road which can be found on the south coast of Viti Levu. Many tourist packages are offered for this area, including comfortable hotel lodgings, luxury resorts, as well as a host of entertaining attractions including Fijian firewalkers. Located offshore, tourists can enjoy a trip to the island of Vatulele, which is considered one of the best smaller resorts in the area. Scuba divers delight in a visit to the Beqa Lagoon.

Located west of Suva, tourists can check out the Pacific Harbor, which offers a variety of attractions, such as golf courses, shopping arenas, as well as a lovely hotel positioned by the seaside. When a tourist wishes to engage in a great game of golf or deep-sea fishing expeditions, they may want to check out this area. In the northern area of Viti Levu, outdoorsy visitors may want to seek out some of the beautiful, natural surroundings, such as majestic mountains and intriguing shorelines. If you are interested in a bit of backpacking, a trip to Nananu-I-Ra Island is recommended.

Northern Fiji features the second largest island in Fiji, which is referred to as Vanua Levu. Some of the most protected waters in the area can be found here. Many travelers enjoy this area because of its fine resorts. Here is where many scuba diving and snorkeling trips can be enjoyed.
