Ibiza Travel Guide - Ibiza is considered to be the third largest of the Balearic Islands. When planning a visit to this island, you should know a bit about its terrain. The coastline of Ibiza is jagged with many impressive beaches to enjoy. Upon arriving at this destination, you will have a chance to explore a wide-range of cliffs and bays, decorated with the beauty of surrounding olive and fig trees. Many people flock to this island during the winter, to escape the cold, but you should also keep in mind that the months of July and August can bring very hot temperatures.

When you have chosen the destination of Ibiza for your vacation because you are interested in checking out the beaches, you will be greeted by selection, such as Talamanca in the north. Other options include Ses Figueretes and Playa d’en Bossa, which can be found in the southern region. The sands at Las Salinas in the south have gained quite a reputation as being impressive. Nude sunbathing can be enjoyed at Playa Cavallet and Aigües Blanques.

When mingling with the locals, you will encounter the language of Catalan, which is the most commonly spoken tongue of the island. There are many different dialects that you may find when communicating with the inhabitants.

Some of the areas of Ibiza that may interest you during your trip include Santa Gertrudis De Fruitera, which is a hamlet that can be found in the central area of the island. This is where you will find a handful of shops selling interesting wares, as well as satisfying galleries that can be located in the central square area of Plaça de l'Església. This area also offers a few bars that are sure to please the tourist looking for a nice drink and company.

The beaches, land, climate and surroundings have made this destination quite popular. The mixture of nature, water, as well as city life, keeps bringing in the masses.
