marbella TRAVEL GUIDE

Marbella Travel Guide - Traveling through the Mediterranean, you will encounter a city within Andalusia, Spain by the name of Marbella. This destination can be located between Malaga and Gibralter, which is also considered one of the most important beach resorts that can be found in the Costa del Sol. The area features a ton of sunny days throughout the year, which attracts many tourists to this area. Upon arrival, a tourist can choose to stay at one of the many luxury or standard hotels and tourist apartments.

One of the things that a tourist may want to participate in is a sightseeing tour of the area. This is when you can check out some of the main attractions that are offered in Marbella. Some points of interest to keep in mind include the Bonsei Museum, Museo del Grabado; the Arabian Wall; the Old City Center; Playa de la Bajadilla, as well as Playa de Fontanilla, which are beaches in the area. Another main beach in Marbella is El Fuerte. If you are interested in a bit of privacy, there are more secluded beaches that you will have to find a way to get there on your own.

The Marbella coastline can be enjoyed for miles and miles; 16 to be exact. The sun-filled area provides the perfect atmosphere for a romp on one of the many beaches in the area. If it is a day at the beach that you are interested in, you might want to check out the following selections, including Playa Casablanca, which can be found between Puerto Banus and the western end of Marbella. It is here that you will be able to rent jet skis and canoes for a day filled with exciting activities.

Playa El Baro offers brown sand and the convenience of a yachting port when you want to see the big ships go by. A fishing port can also be found close to Playa de la Bajadilla, where beachfront restaurants provide a fix for a grumbling stomach. Playa de Venus can be found in the center of Marbella’s harbor. If you wish to enjoy a bit of sailing, as well as watersports, you may want to head for this area.
